The annual Rotary Community Service Awards are held to recognise the work of Community Service Organisations and the collaborative partnerships of businesses who support these vital organisations as they assist and develop our communities.

With major category award winners receiving cash awards to enable them to further their work, the Rotary Community Service Awards formally acknowledge and showcase the amazing contributions of community-based organisations and the individuals within them. The Awards also provide a well-deserved opportunity for Community Service Organisations and their partners to celebrate their hard work, with a gala evening providing uplifting celebration and entertainment.

In 2012 for the first time, the Rotary Community Service Awards will be joined by an event publically showcasing the work of community service groups. The Community Social Responsibility Expo will be a trade show for community and corporate groups, inviting organisations to showcase their partnerships and community social responsibility initiatives to the public.

To get involved, you can start by nominating, partnering or supporting a Community Service Organisation. Your support in recognising and encouraging the special efforts of your local community's most dedicated social change achievers can make a difference that counts where it matters most - in YOUR community.
