There are many organisations and individuals who give of their time and financial resources to support those less fortunate or in need and to improve our community. We want to recognise them and celebrate their valuable service.
Through the Rotary Community Service Awards, we bring together community service agencies and the businesses and organisations that support them, formally acknowledge their amazing contributions and showcase some of the wonderful work being done in our community.
The third annual Rotary Community Service Awards night will be a gala event held on the evening of Monday 15th of October 2012 at the Palladium at Crown, an event that will continue to create stronger bonds between the agencies who serve our community, the individuals who volunteer their time, and the organisations that support them.
The evening itself will see community groups and their partner organisations from the business world converging to enjoy a sumptuous dinner, drinks and an evening of entertainment including a performance by previous Community Service Awards major award winners, The Choir of Hope & Inspiration. Bringing together like-minded people who share similar values, this is the premier event in the calendar for celebrating the achievements of community service partnerships.

The Community Service Awards have become a highlight of the year for Community Service Organisations who work every day to make positive change in the community. No matter how big nor small the organisation, the Community Service Awards provide recognition of excellence and vital support to those making a genuine difference in others' lives through the course of their work. The support provided by our sponsors and corporate partners have enabled our past winners to extend their great work even further, benefitting more individuals than ever before.
So we invite all community groups and socially responsible businesses to again join us in 2012 - we look forward to celebrating community service with you!
We hope that you are able to join us again in 2012.
